Wonderful day! We headed down to Rancho Seco Park for some geo-kayaking. We had the whole place almost to ourselves. We counted two fishermen and one family at the picnic area.  They are behaved and did not interfere with our time on the water.  Our goal was to find 6 caches.  One of them would give us a square on the California Fizzy Challenge. My nose has been running non-stop. I told my son I wouldn't catch his cold!  HAH!!! Geo-Jeeper reached a major milestone after leaving us in the dust!  We brought them in to the world of Geocaching and managed to stay ahead of them most of the time.  Today they found cache #7000 and we are still a couple of hundred behind them.We had received a recommendation from 2Dee2Dee that we should go to Benicia to do some caching. The  Rambo living room was piled high with luggage and we had to stuff it all in the back of their Sequoia! The logical route would have been up HWY 65 but we chose to take the longer route via the back roads which took us through parts of Placer, Sutter, and Yuba counties. It was quite a day, but we didn't get any pictures!We started the day on our bikes. True, it was only by 20 minutes, but 20 minutes is 20 minutes.  Besides, we had to make our traditional stop at Starbucks.  By the time we had our coffee in hand, it was still before 7 and we were on our way to Tahoe.  We headed out via the Mt. Rose Highway.  Up, Up, Up we went. What a blast this was!!! We took our granddaughters with us and we had more fun. We got our feet good and wet, but that was OK--we needed to cool off. The girls actually got to the cache first and logged their find while we were struggling with all the tears! We took lots of pictures and they will remember this adventure for some time. It's name is "The Multi-Magic Tree Cache".  This cache is a multi-cache with a rating of 5/5.
